The modal verb "can" is one of the most commonly used modal verbs. If you can do something, you have the ability to do it, or you have the money to do it, or you have the time to do it:

In the Green Level, students learn how to use "be" and "called" to indicate the name of something. It would be okay for beginning level students to look at this because it’s really not too hard and it’s important to know.
Today’s word of the day is "lick." This verb is used when describing what the tongue does with food and other things that the tongue touches.

The word of the day is "repeat." This is a good word to know how to use when you want someone to say something again.
Bad news for people who haven’t been paying attention to emailed lessons, exercises, quizzes, etc. They have been dropped! All 21,000 of them. If you value the emailed material that I send out, you have to look at from time to time it at the very least; otherwise, it’s adios amigos.
I pay a lot of money per month to maintain email lists, run software, operate a chat room and the website itself. It’s really irritating when people sign up for all this free stuff and then they don’t use it. Use it or lose it, right?
