Parviz: Hi. What’s your name?
Teacher Paul: My name is Paul. What’s yours?
Parviz: My name is Parviz. It’s nice to meet you.
Teacher Paul: It’s nice to meet you, too.
Parviz: Where do you live?
Teacher Paul : I live in Minnesota. How about you? Where do you live?
Parviz: I live in Tajikistan. It’s close to Iran.
Teacher Paul: That’s very interesting. I have never met anyone from Tajikistan.
Parviz: It’s a nice place to live. What do you do for a living?
Teacher Paul: I’m a teacher. What do you do?
Parviz: I’m a student. What subject do you teach?
Teacher Paul: I teach English.
Parviz: How long will it take me to learn English?
Teacher Paul: On average, it takes about five years.
Parviz: Oh. That’s a long time. Well, it was nice to meet you.
Teacher Paul: Nice to meet you, too.
