RED LEVEL – EXERCISE
present tense verbs
The present tense is used for everyday activity. What do you do every day? What do you usually do on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etcetera? Here’s an example:
I’m usually at home on Friday because I don’t have classes to teach. I work on my website in the morning. Then, I ride my bike to downtown Minneapolis where I eat lunch with friends or clients. Sometimes I go shopping on Friday. In the evening, I get together with friends or spend time with my family.
Do you see where all the present tense verbs are?
Directions: Provide the missing verbs from the list of words. All of the verbs are in the present tense. Some of these verbs are negative. Write the exercise in your notebook.
